The latest broadcast of Dragon Ball Super has indeed confirmed that the series is retelling the Battle of the Gods films, albeit at the usually sluggish DBZ pace – though the show is at least attempting to give viewers a deeper sense of attachment to the characters so that they might actually care when they inevitably die for the umpteenth time.

About half of the cheating milf personally known have or had a hard working husband behind them. So no, if it is your thing, whatever flows your flow; personally hate the milf category, because of what it stands for.

And after 20 years Goku should reach such a power level, that he would battle villains on a galactic scale, when he could destroy a galaxy with his kamehameha or destroy whole universes.
And after everything, he still isn't stronger than Beerus. At the end of the Freeza movie, Goku mentions that perhaps if he and Vegeta were to fight Beerus together they may have a chance of winning. Of course, Vegeta hates that idea.
somehow it still keeps happening tho, so maybe the series will take a different path from the movie
