I'm sorry, but the obvious choice isn't even on here . . . it's Lucy Kimiko Akie Airi Shiori Rinne Yoshiho Ayano Tomika Chitose Sanae Mikiko Ichika... Yamagami.
On the playground children will fear the power of my son, the mighty EXODIA!!!!!!
Your hypothetical son better make friends with dirt fast, because that's where his face will be planted everyday after school.
Why the downvote? That was funny.
nope. you stabbing yourself right in the cornea with a pin vice in slow motion is much funnier
Good list, but I've already decided I'm going to call my son Dr. Eggman.
Why not call him Dr Robotnik, his original name?
will his birthday music be Eggman's SA2 theme?
yooooooooooooosh
We are all wizards, we will never have kids
i did, i named him harry
Mr. Potter! this is hardly the place >:O
I'll name my son DIO.
WRYYYYYYYYYYYYY
he'll be a professional road roller driver in the future for sure
When you ll be an old geezer he'll let you die like a piece of shit and spit on your grave. His parting words :
"Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless.Useless..."
How long can he move in the frozen time?
Should name your daughter Sakuya then.
He better grow up to like 80's heavy metal then.
Nagisa (Assassination Classroom)
I died inside a little. Gotta hug my dango daikazoku plush and cry.
Karma.
Aww poor guy >.< I thought about THAT nagisa but uh unless you know your child has some form of cancer and you are willing to change their name for the irony
Izaya is coolest name IMO
I decided I shall name my son Rito in the hopes that I can see a lot of T&A thanks to him and of course I wont be living in a different location working on manga.
i expected to see Asuka here.
Or Yuki. It is a simple pretty name.
My daughter's name will be Erza. She will be named as the most badass woman in anime "Erza Scarlet".
hold up now Weeb-non, you about to start a war, cause my daughters Remillia (Remi) (Gundam, Touhou, and Black Lagoon all in one) and Evangeline (Eva) (Evangelion and Negima all in one ) would have to argue that statement...
I know somebody I went to high school with (7 years ago) that named her 2 kids "Akira" and "Alucard".
(We both live in Illinois, not Japan.)
To be fair, Alucard isn't a Japanese name. Granted it's still strange, but it would be no less strange even if you lived in Japan.
I'm kind of on the fence about Akira. If you pronounce it incorrectly, i.e. ah-KEE-rah, it makes a pretty sounding girl's name in my opinion, regardless of country.
If i wanted them to be bullied or turn out gay, then sure, all of these would make perfect names for my beat up faggy children
Most of them are just normal japanese names anyways, nothing outstanding. If I would get $1 for every Sakura, Haruka or Ai out there I would be rich.
Izaya,
some people expect their kid to grow up as a real bastard, don't they?
No need to wait till he grows up as a bastard, just don't pull out from your girl and never see her again.
friends of mine named their daughter asuna a year ago...
"kids"... LOL!
if you born in the mid-90s,don't tell your parents where Rei,Shinji and Asuka names came from.
Poe from Hyper Police is the only choice
this list is shit!
If your american name your kid Ricky Bobby. he will one day become a famous nascar driver
Either Trunks or Majin Buu.
Kazuto? Never heard if him.
It's Kiroto. Ki-ri-to! Baka!
yeah, baka indeed, you are. kiroto spelled ki-ri-to
Sakura has always been a very popular name in Japan for generations.
However i think someone has been inflating SAO numbers on poll for the sheer trolling effect. I do not believe it has nearly as many fans as it says it does.
While naming you kid after a Japanese word that you have no idea what is means is bad. Giving him/her a japanese, or other cultural name is NOT guaranteed to doom their social life. There are actually many japanese names and words that have been added/accepted into the english language in general. a good example of commonly used 'english'/(american) names with japanese origins or equivalents: Naomi, Amy/Ami, Mika, Midori, Kaya, Karin, Hana, Erina, Miya, Mia, Mai, Maya, Rena, Rina, Saya, Emi, Jin, Kin/Ken, Rei/Ray, Yuri, Tsuki/Suki, Kane, Kei, Kobe/Kobey/Kobi, Kaede, Jakobe/Jakobi, Tomi/Tomy/Tommy, and Risa just to name a few that can/do have a japanese origin or equivalent name and meaning. As long as you do NOT make it a main point and public information the the kid is specifically named after a animation character, there would be NO PROBLEM. Really its up to Good/bad parenting and where you actually live globally.
Thing is, these people will never have children.
HAAAAAHHHAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAHHHH!!!!!!
how about Jugemu Jugemu Unko Nage Ki Ototoi no Shin-chan no Pantsu Shinpachi no Jinsei Balmunk Fezarion Isaac Schneider San Bun no Ichi Junjyou na Kanjyou no Nokotta San Bun no Ni wa Sakamuke ga Kininaru Kanjyou Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiruyou de Shinranai no wo Boku wa Shitteiru Rusu Surume Medaka Kazuno Kokoedame Medaka….Kono Medaka wa saki no to wa Chigau Yatsu Dakara Ikeno Medaka no Hou Dakara Raa-yuu yuuteimiouki Mukou Pepepepepepepepepepepepe Bichiguso Maru
None. They are all Jap ching Chang Chong sounding names.
If I had a son I would name him Kenshiro.
That said, if he lived up to his name he'd probably be in prison for the rest of his life when he's older for smashing faces in lolol
A lot of these names are common Japanese names anyway so I fail to see the point of this poll.
A great way to destroy your child's life...
If you live in Japan maybe some of those names would be acceptable. If you're anywhere else it's a really bad idea to give your kid one of those names.
He'll have to live his entire life with that name.
At school other kids will make fun of him, his social skills will suffer.
And good luck going through highschool when you're named after some anime character...
By the time your kid will be able to legally change his name his social skills would be really bad.
So yeah, don't be a retard and don't even think that's funny to name your kid after some anime character. Especially if you live outside of Asia.
While I agree that naming you kid after a Japanese word that you have no idea what is means is bad. Well, to be fair it is still better than naming your kid Hermione or Gandalf. But yes, you should certainly use a name that fits your language.
Like Zelda! Robin Williams daughter!
