Hibike Euphonium‘s 2nd BD boasts the usual assortment of quality enhancements, albeit of an incredibly subtle variety and, this being KyoAni, sans any possibility of erotic upgrades – though it does granting purchasers another splendid animated short that should help tide fans over until a potential new season.

I think we'll get a Season 2 after all. This series has legs, the first volume has crept up over 8k sold now. It's selling a steady amount each week and could be described as a hit now. Especially when you look at the amount of shows that flop each season.

I'll probably get hate for this (not that I give a fuck) but Sound! Euphonium is Kyoani's best show since K-ON! Don't get me wrong, I really did enjoy their other shows since then especially Amagi Brilliant Park (it was nice to see Kyoani embrace ecchi again) and Tamako Love Story finally fixed what was sorely needed from the show (that goddamed bird). While certainly not a K-ON 2.0, it still has that special SOMETHING. Hope to see more, at least another season and possibly a movie.

Just listened to the full version of their rendition of Rydeen on their OST. It wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be based on that episode.
