I noted his death with respect. But some of those pics welled up some tears. Not exactly crying, but...
Yeah wow, ditto. Was dissapointing but some of these pic's are just made of feelings.
Man, these pics made me shed a couple of tears. To us older gamers, this guy brought a lot of happiness and good times so his death means something.
Man... The 11, 13 and 14... Very emotives...
He was younger than my dad and an incredibly kind man. This is devastating.
RIP Iwata-sensei ... Otsukare sama deshita (T^T)
Satoru Iwata was a great man. He took over as the first Non-Yamauchi bloodline president in the company's history. He took it over just as Gamecube was doing so bad and N64 was dead. He then created so much wealth that Hiroshi Yamauchi, the company's largest shareholder, would die the richest man in all of Japan. He made many very happy, but he was also a business Genius of the highest caliber.
Bro I haven't cried a single tear since I was 10 but this literally had me on the verge and I didn't even know the guy. He impacted all of our lives though at one point of another and you can't deny that. Unless you had one of those parents that didn't let you have shit lol.
Then again I was just listening to Glassy Sky while scrolling through those images, so yeah.
Hopefully nintendo can now move on with a new president with ample and real vision, and hoping their stupid region blocking is gone.
holy shit, you're the most retarded fuck I've seen on the internet all day, congratulations!
Was actually thinking this as well. Respect the dude and sad to see him go but his comments on region locking were such corporate bull.
Yeah, more region locks and deep into the asshole of mobile gaming. Nothing will get better after Iwata.
Nintendo had a vision, people just didn't get behind it, and because they didn't get behind it, the Wii U didn't get as many third party games. However those that did buy the Wii U loved every moment of it and its games. Which should tell you that Nintendo got it spot on with the idea and Iwata wasn't wrong, he did good.
Nintendo makes shitloads of money and everybody seems to love them. I may not be too fond of some of their practices and decisions, but the few games of them I played were indeed fun.
you strike me like the kind of hippy homogaynerd that thinks ANY kind of corporation is the epitome of evil. go kill yourself and make this world a better place
I didn't (and still don't) care for Iwata or any other dead famous person, but even I shed a bit.
Umm... sure. If you say so.
Shed a little, what are you ? a snake?
This begs the question.. now what?
Why do people thank someone when there dead but don't say anything when there alive?
No Donkey Kong, Samus or Starfox in the fanart? Their just as beloved as Mario and Link.
when will he be declared a saint of god by the holy church of gameoligy? I need a new holiday to play my bite-o games!
lets get those patishions rolling people!
also this tumbler level art sucks should have been majestic oil on canvas and sold in a gallery for billions!
Gtfo earth geek.
who is this faggot and why should i care?
What purpose are you doing here, you douche. This is the CEO of Nintendo who just died a few days ago. Show some respect, you ass.
Are you guys still 12? Grow up and stop playing kids games.
Fail shaming tactic.
Meh. Just someone who made more money and inspired more people than you or your descendants for the next hundred years ever will.
And we should be bitter about that because? Wealth is not zero-sum, you dunce.
He was the prsident of Nintendo, and did you really have to go so far as to call him a faggot? You're the only faggot here.
he's your mom.
