Their friendship is based on gay.

Monkey D. Luffy vs all bosses from every arcs.

Same with Naruto vs. Sasuke, which I think is not the best fight from Naruto. That would be Itachi vs Sasuke or Sasuke vs 5 Kage or Itachi/sasuke vs. Kabuto or even Minato vs Tobi was far better than Naruto and Sasuke's fight.

Doesn't anyone remember Street Fighter II: the Animated Movie from 1994? That STILL has several of the best fighting scenes of ALL TIME, especially Chun-Li vs Vega/Balrog and Ryeu+Ken vs M. Bison/Vega.

Sword Art Online gets an animated GIF while the others listed get sketchy artwork.

I know it was a good BOOK. But it really didn't translate well into animation.

It lost a lot due to unnecessary side-story fillers that weren't very well transitioned from episode to episode. They seemed to have a little better handle on the Alfheim story arc, however, it just didn't have the same level of seriousness as far as what was at stake. Aincrad had "you die in the game you die in real life" making it that much more interesting.
As for the "Epic Duel" (First I think the EPIC DUEL isn't the one suggested by the GIF, but the final duel that had more interest.)
