A rather lax epilogue has aired for Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, delightfully informing viewers of the not so grim fates which have befallen the show’s various characters – and providing an ending that may prove satisfying with its deviation from the constant non-stop action the series is so beloved for.

Luvia – True Best Gurl
Fucking Shinji got a good ending too. The abusive rapist and unrepentant asshole gets off with nothing, this definately rings with that typemoon goodness. Oh wait were not supposed to know he is a real bastard in this route are we.
With all this “let’s kill everyone” trend, tt the end I was like “Please don’t go to hell, please don’t go to hell, please don’t go to hell” until the credits rolled down.
This is all great n all, but did this series really need this encore episode? It seemed complete at the end of the previous episode. Just needed to spend remaining budget, but didn’t know where to go with it?
So. In conclusion, and we all get this: the theme is that a perfect paradox was just created, and Shiro ultimately failed to end the Grail Wars as a result of this paradox.
Now that we have that understood. Who’s hoping for something a little more satisfying?
I didn’t get the epilogue at all, was it only understandable if you are player of the game?
Because for me it was like a random insertion of none sense except, maybe, for the last seconds of it.
I felt S1 was very good, but this second turned out to be
for the first half good, but after that I felt it was very Evangelion like.
