The impending Naruto film “Boruto: Naruto The Movie” has given a brief overview of its plot by way of its latest trailer, filling dedicated fans with nostalgia as they once again witness a young “Naruto” – though whether or not the franchise will genuinely come to a close after the movie’s airing seems increasingly uncertain given all the cash at stake.

Man this looks like total shit, I stop following naruto years ago and I didn't think that it would get this bad but boy was I wrong. Is that his son? Why did kishi make him an exact clone of naruto with slightly diffrent hair? If hinata is his mother why doesn't he look anything like her, or why didn't he get the byakugan? Why dose all their kids look like clons of them? Why is naruto hokage? He was one of the most boring, incompent, one-trick-phony characters in the entire series. Man this series went to total shit.
since boruto sister has the byakugan.. and if you actually read the ending in konoha there is nobody except sasuke who can match Naruto.. since Hokage is the "strongest ninja" in the village anyway.

you do realized Kishi's biggest inspiration is the DBZ franchise, right? The same series that has Goku having a son that looks just like him as well, right?
Naruto uses the same moves modified in different ways to win battles. And powerups through training.
Goku, same exact thing, in a series that's STILL BEING MILKED TO THIS DAY.
If this stuff still draws fans, I don't see the problem. I'm enjoying it. And the last 2 DBZ films were actually pretty fun imo.
Its not really the same thing, every attack in DBZ consists of beams just recolored.

as for Naruto, I think the author is going with the direction of "Doraemon", in other words, stuff suddenly pops up and explains everything without links (oo that's a new jutsu, that's why it happens...)
I used to like it so much (the naruto before naruto shippuden), I wonder what happenned to the author.

Boruto: The milking franchise.
I agree, it was pointless creating Boruto. They may as well should give it the Dragon Ball GT treatment and do a filler series, enough of the constant milking and just do what they're going to do anyway and give it an anime.
The manga is barely even started and they are already making a movie out of it... how much are they going to milk that series before they are satisfied.

the daughter of Sasuke is already soooo overpowered. She's beating an army of seasoned sharingan user slones all by herself even though she don't even has a a full sharingan yet.

I wonder if this is like the manga where the name character is barely seen... We haven't seen Boruto since the beginning, instead we follow the daughter of Sasuke and Karin(not Sakura). Oops, spoilers!

Well if you go back to the first issue its actually called Sarada's story. Probably because they knew they were making a movie and wanted different material.
