Costume simulator Dead or Alive 5: Last Round has unleashed another sultry salvo of cute costumes for purchase, allowing players to amplify (or perhaps hinder) their gameplay performance by dressing their character in yet more skimpy clothing – which can of course gradually be slashed to bits when the fighter is damaged.
The costumes in all their easily shredded glory:
Meh. Think I’ll stick with Scarlet Blade
DOA bras and panties are undestroyable
This feature comes far too late
Is this for PC or the arcade?
No, this is Patrick.
There is a version of the game for arcade, but the stuff in these pics is from the PS4 and PC releases.
Not PC releases. The PC does version does NOT have clothes destruction since KT used the PS3 version to port to PC… Worthless developers.
For as good as this game looks, NO GAME SHOULD HAVE DLC THAT TOTALS MORE THAN THE COST OF THE SYSTEM!!!!!!
I like the way this game does DLC. The very first release already started off with more content than any previous game in the series (released before DLC was a thing). Then they slowly developed more content after the game released (and all the first DLC was never on-disc), of which the developers deserved to be payed for their extra work. But now there’s just been so much extra content that the cost for all of it collectively looks huge. $2 for 1 costume sounds ok, but $2 multiplied by 500 costumes is $1000. You could argue that the work that goes into one costume deserves $1 rather than $2 but really, how do you know? We’d have to know exactly how long the average amount of time goes into the work for making these costumes and how much each 3D modeler gets payed per hour. $1 x 500 costumes would still be $500. At least they do sales sometimes, unlike most other DLC by other developers. It’s only insane for completionists who need every amount of content on and off the game’s disc. But for most people it should just come down to the few costumes they like for the few characters they use. If you never use Marie Rose, why buy and download her costumes? People get mad at team ninja for creating and providing so much content and choices just because they are salty that they can’t afford to just get all of it.
Dude, don’t school us. We like to rant even if we’re clearly in the wrong and what we write is dumb and salty.
