The latest episode of school band anime Hibike Euphonium has grown tense as the upcoming “do-over” audition draws near, causing an uproar of emotion between the show’s assortment of cute girls while offering more surprising yuri service, that fans perhaps thought would dissipate due to the revelations of the previous episode.
Omake:
Ok I never get pulled into shows like this, they always seem overly emotional, outrageously cheesy and overhyped by the crowd. BUT FOR SOME REASON even I got pulled in by the want to see that blonde chick get shut down. It was annoying, yet completely understandable. It’s like that moment where you want to hate the villain, they’ve made the villain look like a douche for a long time, then they reveal the villiain lost a loved one and became a villian for a somewhat good reason that you can’t hate. Make sense? That’s how this was to me. A hollow sigh of relief that isn’t as relieving as you expected it to be.
I never would’ve imagined that I’d enjoy a bloody anime about a brass band so much. Even the minor characters are full of… character.
Hope things work out for Kaori; she seems like a legit nice girl. Goddamn meddling kouhai…
Also, I was thinking and thought of a solution — why doesn’t Taki-sensei just arrange a duet/duo piece? Is that not something they would do?
Taki sensei is a friggin purist hipster, that’s why.
He’d consider an arrangement a blasphemy.
Needs bath scene like that glorious BD special
Miracle!, Sancom has finally added a yuri tag.
Next episode introduces a macho new guy that all the girls want to bang and the tag gets removed, also, some anon posts “stupid worthless male MC”
It’s tradition!
A kiss and we don’t see it. I demand a RIOT!
It didn’t look like a kiss though. Their faces never got close enough for it, and the aftermath after they parted didn’t seem to indicate anything happened.
Uncut version on Blu-ray?
If the show ends in het, then WE RIOT!
Riot shall we.
