The already critically acclaimed and multiple award winning series that is One Piece may have just surpassed even its most esteemed of accomplishments with its rather abrupt listing in the Guinness Book of World Records, achieving the world record for “most copies published for the same comic series by a single author”.
The world-renowned One Piece manga had managed to sell over 320,866,000 copies as of the end of December 2014, with the original creator Eiichiro Oda apparently being so busy that he was unable to even attend his own award ceremony – instead prompting Shounen Jump! editor Yoshihisa Heishi to accept the prestigious award in his place.
I seriuosly tried watching the anime, lasted until 50 something episode, and just couldn’t bear any more of this rubber boy bullshit, unbelievably rediculous characters, slow-paced story. And that’s coming from DBZ fan.
The funny thing about One Piece, is that so many people hate it, but still read it. For the past seven years I’ve been reading the big 3, everyone says the same thing over and over repeatedly about One Piece.
When it comes down to it, it’s a Love and Hate relationship amongst fans and weeaboos.

wow f♥♥k you shounen jump that’s just fucked up. they should have just barged into his house and given him the plack personally. the creatures the guy who put in the most work.
