I hope this doesn't have the same shitty boring as fuck combat the previous 3ds game had, I liked the story what I played but i'd always sigh when a combat mission started due to it always putting me to sleep.
Nope same shitty boring gameplay according to the trailer, I'll pass.
I always fast forwarded the combat animations.
Missed the combats from the old FE...
I don't know if I'll buy this one once it's available in Europe...
Wake me up once they've returned to the glory that are sprites.
SEVERA!? IS THAT YOU?
The only bad for me is the chibi designs make the game more similar to FLYFF, i miss the adult designs in the previous FE for example FE Radiant.
Damn right!! Too many childlish characters in there...
10/10 would emulate.
3DS Emulator fucking when??
Give it one year, google Citra.
Just use all those other emulators to play all those games you missed out on while waiting. SNES emulation for example is now perfected with bsnes/higan. Only took them about 20 years or so..
Or just buy a 3DS
Real gamers play with the no-glasses 3D on max. You can never do with with a 3DS emulator.
Real gamers didn't buy into the 3D bs to begin with...
3D is dead, tv makers arnt even making 3dtv's anymore. The 3d on the 3ds is terrible and a waste of battery. Its a gimmick, neat for the first 5 mins but then the slidder goes off.
You clearly haven't tried it, then. You're missing out. Did you not buy into HD either?
@12:40 - Right, and no one is making 3D movies anymore either... and that shit still requires those damn glasses. So making the games look better is just a useless gimmick now? Just go back to playing games on a CRT, please.
They pulled a pokemon on us.
From what little research ive done its looking like both versions are identicle. Whats different is default difficulty level. One for casual players, while other focuses on those looking for a challenge.
what a sleazy marketing ploy. I doubt the different plot and a few maps is enough content to justify the need of two separate versions.
wait for the special edition, which is both versions + part3 as DLC included.
Actually just one game on its own is twice the size of Awakening data-wise. And while they do share about half the same data between the two games, it's mostly just the engine, class/weapon/item data, models, etc. – only the first 6 chapters are the same and I'd bet they're mostly tutorial. Each game will probably be 30+ chapters.
Also, just like pokemon there will be a third version releasing a little later. In this case it's a DLC-only release that will be an entirely new path, presumably starting from that same point in chapter 6 and containing just as much content as the two full versions.
You could just do the same thing everyone does with pokémon, either buy one version or wait for the all in one version
