Death Note, 2nd most overrated anime ever.
Mostly because Light shows a small degree of competency. But seriously, the Death Note comes with both an idiot ball and script immunity.
My guess Ryuk won't addle Light's brain in here, but the police finds outs about him on their own.
You know, to boost the respect for the japan police forces.
The Japanese police were pretty dumb in Death Note though, Light haxed his daddy and stole confidential data before joining the investigation and then when he hands himself in as a suspect they all think it can't possibly be him. L was the only one with a brain, he knew Light was Kira the whole time, he just couldn't prove it, or how he killed when it mattered.
10/10 would rape N again
