The recent Tales of Festival 2015 event has announced that an anime is in the works for Bandai Namco RPG Tales of Zestiria in honor of the franchise’s 20th anniversary, sure to be a perfect compliment to the newly revealed Tales of Berseria.

Those who attended the event also confirmed that a new character will make its appearance as well – the anime is slated for a 2016 debut.
Thank you for being a Tales fan Rift.
I thought it was blasphemy to complement Rift around here.
If the anime is going to go on the different story route as the game and MAKE ALISHA THE HEROINE, then I will agree that this is the most ingenious idea Tales has ever done.
But if they think they are going to waste money to actually make a feature animation of the current story with Rose DESPITE THE FLAME WARS IT ALREADY CAUSED AND s♥♥t RATINGS THE GAME ALREADY GOT FOR IT, then Bamco is definitely retarded.
Welp, for someone who can’t afford to even buy the console, I appreciate this.
What a waste, Zestiria was a horrible game with a horrible story.
Vesperia, Xillia (or pretty much any other Tales) would have been better material.
They already made a Vesperia movie.
Ugh, so much for a fan.
As long as I get to see more Edna animated I am HAPPY!
