A trailer has arrived for bloody visual novel Corpse Party‘s impending live action film, naturally bursting at the maggot-infested seams with atmospheric horror, and hopefully possessing the same amount of gruesome gore as present in the originating game.

The movie will haunt theaters August 1st.

The funny thing is, the best live action adaptation of a Japanese manga/anime so far has been Edge of Tomorrow. It's better than any Japanese live action adaptations ever. Yet people keep saying that about hollywood adaptations...

Despite any changes, it was still easily a better live-action adaptation than any other manga/anime adaptation that's ever been made before.
