Snow Miku 2016 Design Announced

The Snow Miku 2016 design event has finally yielded its winner as iconic virtual diva Hatsune Miku‘s fell icy form exhibits her love for winter sports with a cute animal friend in tow.
Snow Miku and her cute accomplice Yukine as illustrated by Kotatsu Odoki, and revealed during the Hatsune Miku Time 8 live streaming event:
The new Miku design will be on display during the next Sapporo Snow Festival, and will also receive her own Nendoroid and Figma – some of the other impressive entries that unfortunately did not make the cut can be seen via Piapro’s official site.

I'll be picking up the 2016 1/150 scale Snow Miku train personally. It's yearly. They're quite good if you like making stuff.
I'm genuinely excited to live in a time in which Snow Miku design takes place in the dead of summer.

Very cute design. Not sure why anyone would bitch about the design coming out now. That gives companies and people in general plenty of time to make stuff for when winter rolls around.

i agree with the design you picked. but i think it's because this version looks more from something like monster huners so it would most likely sell well.

What do you mean it's not like Miku? Her twintails is there, and it totally fits the "Winter Sports" theme they asked for.
But I gotta say Imoko's design are way better than the winning design. They should have chose that one instead
