A new trailer has been released for upcoming visual novel strategy RPG hybrid “Utawarerumono: Itsuwari no Kamen“, a sequel to the previous title, revealed long ago in 2002, and likely to be a source of much joy to diehard fans knowing that the series has not yet been forgotten – not least if it should presage any more anime adaptations.
The action-packed trailer:
Utawarerumono: Itsuwari no Kamen will launch September 24th for the PS4, PS3 and Vita.
For those who don’t know, apparently Underwater Ray Romano was planned to be a trilogy from the start. So there’s gonna be another one after this.
That title is a train-wreck.
3D models? Pass.
Man that art style makes me nostalgic. Heard about someone making a To Heart 2 X-rated TL just yesterday and now this.
It looks nice…
However all those special attacks take to damn long. Idon’t see myself waiting 15s for an attack to end.
I hope they didn’t spend the time needed to make a good story on making pretty flashy animations.
And it doesn’t feel the same without the characters I loved seen both in the anime and the VN.
If it’s anything like the first game, the “long” attacks are due to the “timing” system they have.
Basically if you hit attack again as a circle closes in on the character they combo attack.
Of course, you had to choose to upgrade their combo stats over their atk and defense so it took a while to get past 2 combos
Wow, I haven’t heard about this title in so long.
