Game distributor Playism (responsible for the first official release of a Touhou game in the west) is taking an interest in bringing more exciting Touhou titles to the US, sure to be great news for fans of the series impeded by the language barrier.
An online poll has been launched to gather the opinions of avid English-speaking players, asking which title voters would prefer to see arrive next – though Playism is reminding voters that this poll does not guarantee any actual Touhou release.
The list of games available to vote on are listed below, though voters can also select an “other” option for a desired game that is not provided:
New Super Marisa Land (魔理沙と6つのキノコ lit. “Marisa and the 6 Mushrooms”)
Urban Legend in Limbo (東方深秘録 lit. “Eastern Record of Deep Mysteries”)
The Nightmare of Rebellion (東方玄夢妖譚 lit. “Eastern Mysterious Dream Youkai Talk”)
Scarlet Symphony (紅魔城伝説 緋色の交響曲 lit. “Legend of Scarlet Devil Castle: Scarlet Symphony”. AKA “Touhouvania”)
Touhou Sky Arena (東方スカイアリーナ)
Adventures of Scarlet Curiosity (東方紅輝心)
Gensou Shoujo Taisen Scarlet (幻想少女大戦紅 lit. “Fantasy Maiden Wars E”)
Touhou no Meikyuu (東方の迷宮 lit. “Labyrinth of Touhou”)
Touhou Soujinengi The Genius of Sappheiros (東方蒼神縁起 lit. “Blue God Omen”)Gensou Ningyou Enbu (幻想人形演舞 lit. “Fantasy Puppet Dance Performance”) AKA. Touhou Puppet Dance Performance
MegaMari – Marisa no Yabou (MegaMari – 魔理沙の野望 lit. “Marisa’s Ambition”)
Touhou Hisoutensoku ~ Choudokyuu Ginyoru no Nazo o Oe (東方非想天則 ~ 超弩級ギニョルの謎を追え lit. “Lacking the Perception of the Natural Laws of the East ~ Chase the Enigma of the Gargantuan Guignol”)
Eager western fans looking to have more Touhou titles make their way westward should probably get cracking deluging the list with eager votes.

Nightmare of Rebellion and Devil of Decline would be fantastic, but on which platforms will the translated games be released?
Hopeless masquerade and it's espansion urban legend in limbo?
Hell yeah.
meh, just make official translations of the originals and ports of the pc-98 games already. all of the fan translations are pretty terrible.
^ Jesus, this. And start from the beginning, not the end.
An official English release of Megamari would be good, though. It's a good enough game on its own to deserve it.
I still don't think that any are quite as good as Embodiment of Scarlet Devil.
The problem right now is that playism just lets you buy it. You actually still need a fan patch from the gensokyo.org site to get english and if there's any bugs, you still need to put yourself into jp unicode or use applocale.
They are seriously doing the bare minimum.
-_- Wat... that is absolutely pointless.
Impeded by the language barrier? Most of them have already been translated.
