Kantai Collection’s lovable Yukikaze seems to have suffered severe damage below decks as demonstrated by Aquamarine’s latest exciting figure, exposing the vulnerable little ship’s pure white pantsu for all to see – affectionate admirals can tend to her repairs once she arrives this August.
Yukikaze can be pre-ordered now.
Nahhhh!! where is our heavely dmg MUSASHI???
Yes! Totally lolicious and worthy of hot glue!
She don’t look heavily damaged at all, probably heavily exposed rear.
her expression’s turned me off a little though, compared to shimakaze/amatsukaze
I own the Amatsukaze figure. The non-damaged version. She’s my first and only figure as of current.
check out the fixfig half damage version; they’re what i’m comparing this to
Why’s Yukikaze (ユキカゼ) backwards on her panties? Something to do with ships or the game?
Because before the American occupation Japan used to right everything right to left, no exceptions, even when writing in horizontal format.
Correct answer: Because that’s how the names were written on the battleships. It’s how traditional Japanese text is written, from right to left.

Ah, so that’s why. Thanks 🙂
Read it from left to right. Then you will understand.
“zekamashi”
its actually: “zekakiyu” ゼカキユ。
Well said, Commander!
I’m still confused, lol. Keep in mind that I know almost nothing of the game and my grasp on the language is abysmal (can read katakana/hiragana/very few kanji, and know very few word meanings). I do see that the ship names backwards is a tag in various places (here, danbooru, pixiv) and are used in doujin titles… is it just an indicator of them being damaged?
Because it’s easier to read when you’re wearing her panties on your head and they’re covering your face.
