The long-awaited Angel Beats visual novel “Angel Beats! -1st beat-” has at last unveiled a trial version, allowing players to get an early glimpse at the game in anticipation of its imminent release – which some still cannot comprehend is actually happening considering the sheer amount of delays.

Not sure about them putting out the next part in 3 years but I've read some Japanese comments that say that this is the first of a 6-part series.

I've got this game on pre-order, and it IS delayed to next month. I pre-ordered from the site that has the freebie with angel in the inner tube, with the lowered suit ^_~

I have done the download, but I only got the message of "this game is japan only". How can I pass it ? just change the windows location and language didn't help too :(

Try change your windows clock to japanese time zone (UTC+9), with other VN it worked for me when i got the same message.

I installed applocale, but it still says jp only. May have to wait for the English translation installer ;.;
So does anyone know if this actually improves on the anime, or is it just the same lazy storytelling cobbled together for teens by a marketing team?
