    09:19 It's been a while since I've last seen such a text wall of pure, condensed straw man. 75% of what you wrote just goes off on a tangential rant and is riddled with tautologies and conventional wisdom that doesn't even conflict with what I wrote.

    I will indulge you anyway, even if it'll go straight over your head: the herbivore men phenomenon has everything to do with the state of Japan's economy and Japanese society's collective refusal to adapt its rigid gender roles to modern standards (which in turn contributes further to the miserable economy).

    And yes, sexual fantasies have stayed the same for thousands of years, and will remain the same for thousands of years to come. The only thing that can significantly influence human sexuality is biological evolution. Societal attitudes only influence how much is discussed openly.

    The Japanese have a notorious history of being completely unable to understand what's going wrong in their society from an inside viewpoint. Hence the ridiculously stupid attempts at explaining herbivore men especially form the Japanese far right. I wonder if you're actually Japanese. The way you formulate things in English at least hints towards something East-Asian.
