agreed "Fate" is a crap series and also bad and stuff. just say no to "Fate" people.
I disagree, Fate, as far as FSN and Zero are concerned, are good stories with excellent concept.
The rest just kinda degraded the series over the years as worse and worse writers got on board or even Nasu himself decides to get on dumb more modern anime trends(talking about Extra and CCC).

The plot is well written, and holds a deep meaningful story compared to 90% of games today.
To not spoil the story, I will only tell the general implications of the game.
The game contains lot of ethical, moral, and theoretical questions about the value of life. Issues that is covered in high academic literature. Such as the benefits of war,
Even better, the game lets you experience it yourself from the shoes of the main character.
The servants, as the projected image of a historical figure, guides you through their beliefs, values, and dreams as a veteran who have experienced life as a past.
Some servants even guides you not to repeat the failure of their past mistakes.
Though, I admit the gameplay is total crap, that's not the point of the game.
I haven't played CCC, but I do recommend you to at least try Extra. They are downloadable in PSN.

Nigga, Fate extra have a better plot to many others fate, i played that game and only the fagstards of fsn think bad about him, inclusive have a tons better plot to fate Stay Night.

Have you guys actually ever played FSN? It's shite, even by VN standards. We were all just young enough to not care back then. It reads and plays like something written by a 14 year old, with a 14 year old's idea of what "cool" is. Even Zero, despite being written by a half-decent writer, couldn't really escape the gravity well of suck of the franchise. This is dumb pulp entertainment for kids, and the more you pretend otherwise the more sad all of this "oh noes fujobait" stuff really sounds.

Each new servant they farm out isn't an addition to the series, it's another piece that gets chipped off. The QA is going to hit a point where all you're left with is the marble base that gets repurposed into a headstone, inscribed HERE RESTS FATE. -MAPO TOFU.

I personally have already grown sick of all the Arturia clones, along with other characters that just has to return for almost every installments like Tousaka, Archer and Gil.
They are all good characters in their own rights, but it just made it all the more apparent how TYPEMOON is trying to milk the older series's success over and over.
Why wouldn't they? If you could ride forever on the unlikely success of drivel like FSN, wouldn't you? You'll never run out of 14 year olds to pander to, after all.
