Legendary thief series Lupin III‘s next iterative animation has received its first trailer, naturally showcasing an amalgamation of car chases and other such stylish criminal action – with the recent and rather dreaded art-style seeming to have now made a foothold into the main franchise.

The new Lupin III’s air-date has also unfortunately been pushed back from May to October, though no explanation was provided as to why.

Say what you want about the art style, but hearing that theme again gave me the feels. Got some great memories of the Red Jacket Lupin series...
Yeah it has the artistry but at the same time it doesn't. That can a least be appreciated. The Fujiko anime had that charcoal texture thing going while this one does not. Looks cleaner, and better detailed in comparison.
I need some new Fujiko figures to go along with this.
