The Mystery Gensokyo series developed by doujin game circle Aqua Style will be arriving on the PS Vita, sure to compel those fascinated by rogue-like titles or who just appreciate Touhou in general.
The game naturally features a wealth of randomly generated dungeons bearing mountains of loot, with the player controlling Touhou’s notable shrine maiden Hakurei Reimu, and the game also boasts additional challenges for enhanced difficulty such as being “unable to pick up items”.
Mystery Gensokyo: The Tower of Desire will hit shelves in Japan on June 25th, and buyers of the limited edition will be granted a vita/smartphone stand, a “Mystic Gift Disc” original soundtrack with voice drama, an art book and a variety of custom Vita themes.
I’d buy and play it…
…if I only I have a PS Vita.
I love Touhou, but I’m not gonna buy a vita just for a roguelike. I’m not that big of a fan of the genre.
