that's what ppl said about tokyo ghoul season 2 last season it sucked beyond believe. not only did kaneki only get 10 minutes screentime through that whole season it was nothing more than flashback from CCG characters.
it totally raped the manga and ppl still praised it.

I'm curious to watch this, but am skeptical because the description mentioned comedy elements. I hate when they're poorly blended hence the hesitation
they don't mix the comedy badly. However this show has got a ton of hints at gay-ism. But then again, it's also has really sexy loli vampires so it's hard not to watch.
The comedy doesn't interfere with the action, so don't worry.

theres always that one retard that annoys the shit out of the viewer. that stupid kid totally ruined the episode for me.
The japs, and really most hyper pretentious viewers/critics idea of "character development" is to make a character as shitty and annoying as possible at the start and towards the end make a shift to just barely tolerable. It's the biggest scam in storytelling, a character that's good from the start doesn't need to change much and avoids such stomach-churning contrivances.
That type of shit only works well for an audience who has been hand fed the shit so much that not only are they use to it but see it as daily nutritional value. While we can easily see it as dog shit, they see it as hamburger. Either way, a cop out can only be a cop out no matter how much hamburger they try to make out of dog shit.
