I actually did not care when Levi's 2 friends died. Didn't really grow attach to care for them in the 2 episodes. When Levi saw Isabel's head...I was like...meh...
Honestly, Levi's past would have been better if they showed it...BEFORE Shingki No Kyojin even started.
I mean, You could basically tell his friends were dead the second they appeared on the screen. What with them not being around at the beginning of the anime.
So when they showed up in the manga version, i just didn't care about them at all.
