Officially they claim both Vivid and Force as 4th season, although imo Vivid is 3.5 while Force is the actual 4th. Chronologically that makes sense too.
Chronologically, the order is [Original] → As -> Strikers (-> Sound Stage X) -> Vivid -> Force.
However Vivid could be considered more of a spinoff than a part of the actual main story.

Yeah, it kinda bugs me how all of the popular light novels and their anime adaptations just HAVE to include a harem. Even if romantic love triangles and fanservice aren't the primary focus, and the story's far more action-oriented, the male lead's still turned into an oblivious player who picks up a new girl every couple chapters or so (ex. Magical Index and Sword Art Online). I'm certainly not complaining about, say, Seiri Fukiyose's mere existence as a character, but seriously, she just kinda shows up right the fuck out of nowhere to lecture Touma (having apparently been his classmate for the past 5 or so story arcs), and that's how she gets added to the series' already bloated cast of female characters.

Shit character designs are shit. They don't look even close to the designs used for the series so far.
Also the Vivid manga consists of nothing but girls taking baths and holding hands, so while sancom will be fapping off to it for the next three months, those of us who got into the series for reasons other than girls gazing at each other will quietly despair and remember when it was good.
ive said it before i will say it again. i love the nanoha series story line magic system characters etc but i hate hate hate hate hate the fanservice particularly of the loli variety (which seems to make up a bulk of the official art that is released)
