Anime Mirai 2015 has resumed its exhibition of animated shorts with “Aki no Kanade”, a piece chronicling the upbringing of a cute drummer girl that has drawn out a wide range of emotions from its audience – with the anime also earning praise for its beautiful visuals.

Any premise about any banal thing is enough to make a 12 episode anime these days.
Why not an anime about the art of brushing your teeth or whipe your ass. Think on it, anime about the daily hygiene of a group of girls. I bet it would sell and be AOTS

The show was good, but it had an unresolved romance subplot! Hate how there was no payoff for it
Watched this and Ongaku Shoujo (another of this year's Anime Mirai OVA's) yesterday. Ongaku Shoujo was ok I guess (one of the characters was a bit too hyper for my taste, though I did like the yuri service), but this one was good! ^^ The main character is voiced by the same voice actor who voices Misaka Mikoto in Railgun and Index (in her grown-up and teenage scenes that is). :D
The two remaining OVA's from this year's Anime Mirai doesn't appear to have been subbed by anyone yet, and in fact, I can't even find an entry for either one of them on AniDB...
