Nintendo have unveiled a trailer for their previously announced Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem crossover title “Genei Ibunroku #FE”, sure to have fans pumped now that some actual progress has been made on the game since its inception 2 years ago.

Not much is currently known about the work-in-progress Wii U game – though it is at least clear the game is set to launch sometime this winter.

Weird trailer, at least from the gameplay it seems like it's Persona 4 trough and trough so it's bond to be good. Only downside is the Wii U only, they aren't very mature game friendly, damn you Sony get your shit together and get these games.

I also don't see what makes the console any less mature game friendly than the others... sure there's a section of the fandom that won't pick it up, but most of the PS4 install base won't pick up anything that doesn't involve shooting people, so it's really apples and oranges.

I'm not denying that, I've played a fair chunk of them, but he's saying that because some Wii U owners only pick up kids games they can't have mature games. And either way, the generations thing is kinda useless as Sony don't care about their history, they only look for new markets; why do you think all-stars was full of so much marketing for new games? The previous generations don't matter, this gen they've got all the Xbox kids asking for an endless stream of generic gun and football games to worry about...

This looks like it was an idea for a new franchise, but it couldn't get enough financial support; so they decided to put it in a blender with two existing franchises to get that extra hype-flavor.
