Steins;Gate is receiving a sequel in the form of Steins;Gate Zero, described as the “true sequel” for the franchise by top developer Chiyomaru Shikura – and fans of the anime rather than the VN will be happy to hear an anime is apparently in the works too.
The news came via a recent livestream, with an official PV being released in conjunction:
The game will utilize numerous stories from the franchise’s many drama CDs, and will also adapt some from 3 of its novels – no launch date has yet to be confirmed.

No full anime season please. It probably wont go well as everyone will be expecting most of the sht to happen in 1 form or another. If they really do make a full season, they have quite a high bar to hit. If it is some cheap remake, it will just be a quick milking out of senseless fanboys and ruin their name.
It's not a remake, it will be the story of the beta line where Okabe fails at saving Kurisu.
