This anime is just too short. If Strike Witches got 2 seasons, some OVA's and Girls und Panzer got some several OVA's and movie, Kancolle will definitely have a very big possibility to have similar extensions. Be optimistic!

To be fair Akagis tactical command was shockingly incompetent. With no dedicated AA destroyers, in enemy territory after launching a bombing raid to then fail to put up a fighter screen and overwatch over the fleet carriers..... they were kind of asking to be caught out by a retaliatory airstrike.
I agree. I facepalmed at the lack of a CAP (Combat Air Patrol) despite having four carriers.
In-game, Fubuki Kai Ni is a very high-AA destroyer, so leaving her out merits another facepalm.
On the other hand, if Fubuki did stay with the main fleet, she'd lose her dramatic last-moment rescue scene.
Personally, I want her to sink in the end.
After saving her beloved sempai and defeating Black Wock Shooter, she gets sucker-bombed like Kisaragi. :P

Cause if they followed history they'd lose all 4 carriers in the next ep and it would really just go downhill from there but I doubt the japanese want to be reminded of how badly they lost WW2.
That Wo class carrier reminds me of USS Yorktown want some payback on Buki for damaging her back in Operation MO.
The only who i really would cry where be sunk be the delicius tanned Musashi, the rest really dont care.
And I few months ago I was claiming they wouldn't follow historical events because that would lead to inevitable bad ends for every kanmusu.
Props to them for having the balls though, they could have made a moemoe slice of life anime and made easy monies but the tears of fans were all too enticing.

At the Yamato gif right after the spotlight you can see 2 black figures resembling Shoukaku and Zuikaku that's not on Nagato's fleet list
