Maybe I'm just weird and/or unusual, but I find watching a girl brushing and/or working on another girl's hair to be the most soothing and calming thing in the world, both in real life and in anime. I find it very pleasant to look at, but I don't get excited by it, quite the opposite. If I can get away with staring at it in real life, I usually find myself in a daze with a small smile on my face after a while. :P I always look out for it in anime, but to be honest I think it shows up rather rarely (way too rarely!), and when it does show up, it usually doesn't last long. It's not uncommon for me to replay the short scenes in anime that have it lol. :P
It's a lovely sight for sure, not least because of the implied intimacy of the girls and the situation.
But if it's a very intense, physical feeling, you might be experiencing AMSR. At least watching girls grooming each other is one of the most common visual triggers (it does trigger for me). Doesn't usually work with animated stuff though... but that still leaves the lovely sight ;)
