Why does Ginko from Mushishi work as a bartender? Shouldn't he be looking for Mushi?

well its more or less a complicated case of self justice. The youngster or his sister should have contacted the police and report the crime and let them do their job.

Personally at the end it made it easy for me to pick who would go to the void though. I'd send the detective since he just allowed more victims :| that's the same as doing the crime in my eyes in most situations.

I'd do the same if my sister got raped. I'm also glad he killed the perp and the shitty detective. I hope the sister at least knows that her brother did grant her, her wish. That'd at least amount to a tiny tiny bit of consolation

The premise is about dead people, are you telling me it should be happy and fluffy?

And also did you watch any other animes this season? Because most that I'm watching aren't drama emo.

The poor thing! Have you finally got out of the room where people shove animes to your face? Oh, the captors were you at the same time? How unfortunate!

episodes 3-7 were actually pretty light hearted, in huge contrast to ep 1-2 and 8-9.

Everything? Yeah, I remember how K-ON was really sociopathic, right.

Free markets at work, my friend. But you're providing the obligatory "not everything is the way I like boo hoo" comment for this post, so thanks for getting that out of the way.

Blood loss, he got stabbed in his gut by the guy he was trying to take revenge.

Though that kinda begs the question how he died on the exact same moment as the detective.

The best way to understand this anime is ignoring the first apparent reasons.
The author often changes the course of history ..
The triple kill was rather unexpected .. led to believe that a had killed each other, and the boy killed the detective's wife out of desperation .. seeking revenge for letting loose a suspect.
The final stoned, was the detective admit that was fap while the sister of the boy was raped ..
In the end the two were erased from existence ..

Andrenaline is a hell of the drug.

But he probably didn't die at the same time, just fainted from the blood loss as soon as the high was gone and then died while unconscious.

When's the last time an anime had so much verity?
