funny how we can see 4 animes from shounen jump, 6 shounen type recommended by GIRLS and none on GUYS list also as i guy i would never recommend unless i know the person madoka, chuunibyou or clannad.

These really are the most popular with women, though. Most female anime fans dont like shojo anime, and theres not that much of it to begin with.
That would be like expecting the 'male recommended' list to have Kuroko no Basket and Haikyuu because they're technically shonen.

I always found it funny that anime for little girls also appeal to grown men and anime for little boys also appeal to grown women.

Probably because they don't bother making shoujo anime any more. I miss the days when things like Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou, Fruits Basket and Kodomo no Omocha got anime adaptations...
It would help if shoujo were a bit more diversified.
