I knew this show would suffer from "episode 9 syndrome". Where only 3 to 4 episodes out of the 12 actually introduce any real climax into the anime.
I tried to like it but ended up dropping it after episode 5. I don't know if it's because of lack of climax or because I haven't played the game but I couldn't get into it.
Yeah mostly only the true fans of KanColle will enjoy the show. It'll be boring to any others. Kind of like how most World Of Tanks fans enjoyed Girls Und Panzer.
But it's odd, there are a shit load of military themed anime with an all/mostly female cast lately. Like this, then you had C3-bu, Upotte!, Girls Und Panzer, and that new one blatantly named Military!. What's up with that?
