    The first NTR anime I ever watched was about this kid that is in love with his childhood friend. He comes home after being gone for many years and finds that she's filled out in the best possible way. She clings to him in a very playful and flirtatious way, telling him how much she missed him and wanted to be with him. All the while they are harassed by a rugged looking beach guy which she claims she despises. That night they say goodnight and that they'll meet up the next day.

    So, anxious to see her again, he gets up very early so they can spend the whole day together. He goes to her house and is ready to knock on the door when he faintly hears moans and ecstasy inside. He sneaks around to her bedroom window and peeks in to see, you guessed it, the rugged looking beach dude fucking her hard.

    Of course he's mortified but watches the whole thing anyway. When they're done, the guy while getting dressed tells her that she should stop leading her friend on because he's in love with her. To which she replies, "Oh him? He's just a little boy I've known since I was a kid."

    So, the main character is completely shocked, throws up and runs home, completely heart broken. Later that day she goes to his house to meet up so they can hang out but he's not home. Though it never says it outright, the story ends leaving you with the impression that the boy kills himself.

    Since then, I've never watched an NTR anime. They're definitely not for me. I really can't understand how people can get off on stuff like that but seeing as how other people like rape anime or tentacle anime, I guess everyone has their own fetish.

    @15:08 - Well, if I were to use your desperate and illogical analogy, I'd say porn without romance is like a slasher film where no one is afraid... like watching an autopsy happen.

    Seriously, I'm really only speaking for myself and the few who are like me, but I'm more aroused by anime and films that have sexuality in them than hentai. I have to fap to most hentai and just look the bodies of the female characters, while with ecchi anime and films I'm actually invested in the characters, the premise of the scene, the build up, the atmosphere, everything. There's such a thing as immersion. I don't need to fap to it, it gets me hard all on its own and it last a lot longer, and it's far more pervy since it's not happening in 18+ restricted porn/hentai where society says its "place" is (you know, as in "everything should have its place"). On top of that it satisfied me on more levels than just my dick.

    I don't watch movies and just think "Oh its just a movie. That's a special effect. So is that. Some guy on a computer made that. Same with that. All of it is fake. I'm just watching this to pass the time. That guy didn't really die, he could get up right now if he wanted to, but that would go against the script and he'd piss off a lot of people for messing up the movie, unless it's supposed to be a comedy. Yeah, so he died, who cares. Oh now his "mother" is pretending to cry...". If everyone watched anything that way we wouldn't be making films/shows/anime/manga or anything anymore. The idea that it is all fake is only relevant when it needs to be, but when we are watching it a good show/film needs to immerse us and make us believe. It makes it so much better when we react emotionally to what's happening in the story almost as if it were real. Why else do we have so many guys who venerate certain characters and carry around their pillows as if they're their girlfriends? Sure that's extreme, but it's representative of a good feeling that tons of people want to have. Fapping to a 10 second drawing just isn't the same as fapping to a drawing that you feel like you love. If viewers demand better we will get better (and there HAS been better before, it's just rare), but unfortunately most people seem to be of the "wham bam" type and are satisfied that way.

    This isn't really "vanilla". I mean the entire premise is that you are training the mom and her two daughters into becoming sex slaves. There isn't any mutual love there, the girls do not want to have sex with the main character. It is basically a rape/slave training anime. Also once again the best character gets no scene time. The mom was totally the best character of the bunch and who I spent most my time training in the game.
