The entire cast is nearly around 200, and if they go the "Axis" approach, then there will be around 300 more or less.
This is not a ranking of the cutest girls, but a ranking by number of illustrations on pixiv. It's at most a popularity ranking, and obviously something Shimakaze would win, what with her being the face of KanColle in the first few months of the game and everybody drawing her without even having played it.

And Tenryuu and Tatsuta need to come to the show.
The Tenryuu-class cruisers were mentioned but only shown once as cameo. They were there in the latest episode but not seen, just mentioned being in the operation.
They are all super cute, but I tend to find that the more grown-up looking ones draw my eye the most in KanColle, particularly Kongou and the boss one (Nagato?).

The whole KanColle thing was almost as confusing to me as why people think the ***48 girls are cute. Then a voice spoke to me, and I believe it said "3DPD" -- and all of a sudden KanColle made a lot more sense.

she was never popular in the game, as she was just a plain jane destroyer who usually got junked. Because of this, and a mascot for the game, she got her MC position mostly through pity.
