GitS: Arise TV Anime = OVA Rehash + 2 New Episodes

The new TV anime announced for Ghost in the Shell: Arisehas been revealed to be an exciting compilation of old footage from Arise’s previous OVAs – though at least granting the show’s few eager viewers 2 brand new episodes to look forward to.
The TV anime, entitled “Ghost in the Shell: Arise – Alternative Architecture” has also unleashed a TV CM:
The anime will debut April 5th – not that many are particularly thrilled considering the amount of controversy previously spawned.

As bad as all the recent 'HD remakes' in the games industry.
Why is it that big industry , I use the term loosely in this case, never listen to what consumers want? In this instance, all they had to do is go to 2-chan and look at responses to the OVA. After all 2-chan are their target demographic.
