The new TV anime announced for Ghost in the Shell: Arisehas been revealed to be an exciting compilation of old footage from Arise’s previous OVAs – though at least granting the show’s few eager viewers 2 brand new episodes to look forward to.

The anime will debut April 5th – not that many are particularly thrilled considering the amount of controversy previously spawned.

Why is it that big industry , I use the term loosely in this case, never listen to what consumers want? In this instance, all they had to do is go to 2-chan and look at responses to the OVA. After all 2-chan are their target demographic.
