That's kind of amazing. I mean I know that Love Live! is popular with surprisingly many girls (a bit like K-On in that regard), and since only girls are supposed to give out chocolate on Valentines no matter if they're giving it to a male or their female friends, they'd naturally only consider female characters in the ranking.
But then they also included male characters, so that can't be it. There appear to be actual girl crushes at work here. Not that I don't understand them though, for some reason it just seems completely... right.
I remember seeing a picture of a highschool girl bowing down before a Kotori stand. It was posted here a long time ago.

Seriously, for me, I'd vote Kanade Tachibana as number one for who I'd want chocolate from. She's like an angel.
The amazing thing is that with that you know about 25% of all anime represented in this list.
Love Live Vol 7 sold 51,985 copies first week. This should give people some idea that this is nothing but a fanboy list and shouldn't be taken seriously. These Love Live fans are irritating. Poll them again and ask them for names besides their fav Idol show.

Because the writer couldn't care less about the works mentioned in his blog. He just copy and pastes random stuff he finds in other sites and surrounds it with ads.
