Fans have been polled concerning the seiyuu they find to have the most surprising age, whether it be by dint of their youthful appearance or the age of the characters they still manage to voice convincingly – with Masako Nozawa (the voice of the young fighters in DBZ) proving to be the most shocking.

Don't seem to age different than anybody else according to those images tho if you ignore the shoop, most woman don't look much different until they hit their 40s besides getting laugh lines in their late 20s.

Mayumi Tanaka isn´t much of a surprise because she´s Pazu in Laputa.
Megumi Hayashibara has an awesome range from cool lady to DiGi Charat and Detective Conan´s Haibara Ai.
Yui Horie I´ve heard since her first major role in Love Hina and that was in turn of the century. Love all of them and only surprising one is number one because the age when she did the voice of Goku.
For an even better appreciation about Megumi Hayashibara's voval range, try watching Rainbow (the one about the boys in a prison for teenagers in post WW2 japan), she voices the narrator. Then compare it to any of her teen girl roles, for example Lina Inverse.
She's freaking awesome.

Two thumbs up for placing Yukarin and Yui Horie in the top ten. Now the industry needs to get more good roles for Yukarin to play.
On a slightly different note, Miki Itou would have been on my list a while ago. I watched Marimite recently and looked up Sachiko's seiyuu during the first season and was surprised at her age. However, somewhere between the third and fourth season, the character voicing felt much older. She also voiced Asa Shigure in Shuffle and managed to sound very youthful. On the other end of the spectrum, I'm just re-watching Natsume Yuujinchou in which she voices Touko-san and you really wouldn't guess that the same seiyuu is voicing this role.
If they do this again in a few years, I think Sayaka Oohara should be in there as well. Her voice is warm and silky smooth even if she doesn't sound like a teenager.
The list is missing Miki Itou, the seiyuu of Fate's Taiga Fujimura and Higurashi's Takano. She's 52. Well...in Umineko, you can kinda hear it from Eva, but Taiga sounds like she's really in her twenties...
I find it more shocking that Japan thinks adult Goku's voice sounds good.

I'm bit disappointed they didn't included Ayako Kawasumi who voiced Oyodo of Kancolle. She's already 38 years old and one of the most active veteran seiyuu. at least they include Yui Horie who voiced Mamiya.
Some of their current roles should have been noted also, most of them are still very active as seiyuu.
Kikuko Inoue is doing voice of Archangel Michael in Junketsu no Maria to begin with. It shows how great range of voices she has, as many of these 20 have too.
Still looking good for their ages. I recognized a few of these women from various Japanese games I have as well.
