Tireless otaku have yet again demonstrated their obsessive talent with comparison images of noted scenes from moe coffee shop anime Gochuumon Usagi and their real world equivalents – just how much effort was required to make this discovery has thankfully not been divulged.
Comparison shots can be seen below:
Oxigen-wasting parasites!

Even architecture is sexier in 2D, it would seem.
Not to mention the fatties in the bath.
Agreed.
When it comes to looks, 2D will always beat reality. Real stuff is limited by real world physics and is full of defects. The only limit on 2D is the artist’s imagination (and perhaps government censorship…), and the defects are only there if added intentionally (or if the artist sucks, of course).
The unfortunate reality for all 2D-lovers is that 2D can look great, but is not part of the world we live in. You will never know what it feels to embrace your waifu!
