How could anyone like Psycho-Pass 2? Tow Ubukata ruined it with its inconsistency and he still gets work from Production I.G after it. Shouldn't have been done without Urobuchi being involved.

I would like to see a list based on actual Viewership an anime had while it aired and the amount of money it made on blu ray.
We all have different taste, so it's easy to hate on lists where random nobodies voted for it. But if it's an official list based on the actual popularity of a show, then it's harder to argue.
What does it matter how popular an anime was, though? It doesn't really mean anything or help anyone to know how popular an anime was. The devil is in the other details.

That's fine, but there were more wonderful anime in 2014 for pretty pictures than what were on this list, weren't there? Mushishi had some beautiful artwork (and music), for instance. But nope, this list is just about the same popular anime, just shuffled around so the people on SC and other sites can call it shit. Kinda pointless.

Psycho pass 2 was actually quite intellectual compared to 99% anime these day.
By those standards you might as well not even try to find 10 intellectual anime in 2014.
