I remember the manga to this, least what I could see. This is the story the witch girl is trying to get a war that is nearby to stop with her powers, and the angels are picking on her for doing so. (one even talks down on her but if you read between the lines he's just pissed she can do something while he is forced to stand by and do nothing despite all his powers)

Junketsu no Maria is realistic in the way it describes how rotten the world was back then like it is today.
Specially the crurch, it made money from war and gained power from it.

This anime has a very...dry way of getting the story along, and they just throw in the fanservice to keep em hooked to something subpar. The only interesting thing that has happened thus far was her clash with Ezekiel.
