(Especially during the YEAR of Second Impact)

Second Impact was in 2001. Third Impact is in 2015.

Actually, 3rd Impact was 2016. Shows starts in summer 2015, IIRC, and segues into 2016, though it doesn't make that obvious.

Considering the start time (around summer 2015) along with the number of Angels and the various time gaps between fights, Eva's end/Third Impact should've occurred in 2016 or so. (Maybe even early 2017.)
