Durarara x2 has been fairly interesting so far, it brought back the old cast (and builds more on them), introduces some new faces, and still keeps me intrigued with all the little mysteries that each episode creates.
Can't say anything for the rest of the list, but if you enjoyed the first season of DRRR, then you'll enjoy this one.
It's actually not all that good so far, but at least there's always a chance it will improve. The only reason people have given it a pass is because of nostalgia so far, though.

Death Parade and Jojo makes this the first season I've watched more than one show in years.
It's actually fine if you don't stop at the popular anime. But that's apparently too challenging to do for a lot of people.

Durarara!!x2 is fantastic, as is JoJo. I've been thinking of checking out Assassination Classroom - is it any good?

Why would go and mention One Piece in such a positive light, if you're hoping people will take you seriously? All you've done is prove that your own taste is questionable.
One Piece is popular for a reason, selling to only children doesn't garner you 350+ Million volume sales...

Popularity doesn't make something good, either. Twilight is even more popular than One Piece, does that mean I should be saying that the people supporting Assassination Classroom and One Piece are retards for supporting them?
Popularuty does not mean its good, however there are always exception to the rule, one piece is both popular and extraordinary.
The testament to its quialty is that it keep selling more and more as time passes, the natural thing to happen is that after you years you are left you your core loyal fanbase and casuals move on, but with one piece it has managed to keep everyone interested for 15 years, you cannot manage that no matter what if your manga is not GOOD, extraordinary actually to accomplish such feat,
I dont think there is any record of another manga lasting this long and keep pushing sales records after 15 years, again this is not a matter of something being hot and popular, you cannot last this long with that alone, you need an extraordinary story, characters and everything in harmony to accomplish it.
Also OP fanbase are not kids, but 20+years old.
You want a series with kids as its core fanbase, you now have a pokemon rival in the name of yokai watch.
One piece has many refill episodes and it's a shounen... it does excel on his genere but I wouldn't call it extraordinary, it's just that most die hard fans are too blind to see any flaws on the show. I also feel that the shounen genere is kinda overrated but that's just me.
One Piece is bought in becasse for those that dont kno,w there is a kind of rivalry between AClass fans vs One Piece because Aclass has being at the top of somehting called manga poipularity rank in shounen jump thus Aclass fans have starting to think Aclass can be the rival that can dethorne or reach OP level status.
While it is popular, sometimes ranking above One Piece for MANGA readers popularity that is, once you actually read it and those that watch the anime know Aclass is simple a funny anime, sure it can shows you more as you go on but it wont reach further than your gintama, which is pretty popular or your Belzeebob, its that kind of manga that relies heavily on comedy, in my taste characters are pretty blank, very uninteresting, just with the chara a and charav designs any real rivalry with iconic One Piece is really lost, it really lack that SPARK that titan like One Piece or Naruto(had at some point) or Dragon Ball have to become as hugely popular as they are.
You want something funny to laugh, watch Aclass, but itsa fans thinking beating OP sometime sin the readers popularity poll really makes Aclass a rival that can dethrone OP is seriously nuts.
I imagine the people who like Twilight would say it's good. I'm not one of them, mind you. Same with the people who like one piece.

Actually Durarara is also quite overrated. It's just managed to scrape by on nostalgia so far. Thankfully there are at least signs that it will improve, so it probably deserves to be on this list, unlike so many of those anime that have proven themselves wholly inept so far (sometimes for entire seasons before this one).
