The Japan Animator Expo’s latest delivery comes in the form of an Evangelion themed short entitled “Evangelion: Another Impact“, depicting the bloodthirsty rampage of a nameless Eva unit in an alternate universe – and earning itself much acclaim for its astounding 3D CG.

The short may even be providing an early glimpse of what the upcoming Evangelion 4.0 film may resemble, though nothing has yet been confirmed and a fully CG Eva movie would be a rather radical development.

Looks like another of the Shinji Arakamaki CG Movies like Appleseed Alpha et al.
Still looks OK, and they at least made sure the run cycle looks like the old Animated one.
Why do Eva’s always look like they are wearing sneakers…
