The first PV for the new series recap movie of renowned titan slayer anime Shingeki no Kyojin has arrived, granting a significant amount of focus on the formidable female titan.
The film will pick up where the first left off in terms of recounting the events of the anime, intending to cover the final 13 episodes, while attempting to include as little new material as possible without earning the contempt of fans.

Loved gundam and macross recap - let me slide into the story without watching actual 50+ original series.
Neither DYRL nor Frontier movies were recaps. The Macross Plus movie kind of was, but also had new content.

They're milking it with recaps, spinoffs, and sequels because the manga has declined in quality by quite a bit. There are some good chapters following the season one content, but after that, the story gets caught up in both poor pacing and writing.
Except Persona 4 always added new content. In that regard, among many others, it is superior.
Nah. With Persona 4 Golden Animation they deliberately focused on Marie to a point it detracted from most of the episodes. They didn't have to do a full season, Marie could have been done in one movie. They milked it.
