Sega has announced that anime brawler Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax will at last make its arrival in the US, sure to send western fans into a joyous frenzy in anticipation for the top anime-themed fighting game.
The game hosts a variety of popular anime characters for eager players to choose from such as Asuna, Kirito, Taiga, Shana and Misaka to name a few – the roster being perhaps its main and only draw.

Details are scarce, but it seems the game is set for a summer release in the US. Swedish gamers will likely have to wait until hell freezes over.

I'd be more excited about this game if I actually had friends to play it with...
you and me both....

Please don't remind us...
you should just exchange PSN names when the game gets its international release.
Nitroplus Blasters is so much better than this crap because it didn't need these disgusting male pigs.
Lookie here. Girls beating up girls is normal, they do it all the time. Guys beating up girls, on the other hand, means that guy is really pissed off of her. Then notice Kirino in the characters list.
You calling yourself pig?
3DPD
damn the day i bought an xbox
How the fuck can we get this but not a super robot wars game?
I ask myself that everyday, dood...
who the flip knows.
Maybe there's less issue with getting the rights to loli basketball than bandai and their piracy blaming self.
"Swedish gamers will likely have to wait until hell freezes over."
Surely you mean "European gamers"? But I don't quite get the sudden singling out of Sweden for no reason, unless the author happens to be Swedish himself.
PS Vita...
I can't stop giggling..!
Didn't they already do this with the J-stars thing? And it sucked...
No idea how/why this game is getting released in the west; feel like the licensing must be a nightmare, plus everyone I know who wanted to play it already imported/downloaded the Japanese version. It's my favourite fighter right now because little animu girls, and isn't really any more broken a game than Blazblue or SF4, though definitely doesn't have the strongest scene (for obvious reasons). Still, the western release seems really baffling.
I thought SEGA said they weren't going to port games anymore or something.
No more baffling than J-stars
Didn't even know J-Stars was a thing, probably because it doesn't have an arcade version, which is pretty embarrassing when even garbage like the Koihime fighter is in arcades (and probably gets played more because of it). Agreed though, that game getting a release is pretty damn bizarre.
Europe release ...do we have tó import ágain?..?
Available on psn only. *Sigh*
I'd be more excited about this game if I wouldn't suck so bad at fighting games. (Except SSBM, fighting games that do not require you to press long sequences of buttons are fine with me.)
The execution level required in DFC is pretty low; the most complex motion in the game is half-circles for supers. Of course, some characters have combos that need a bit more execution than others (Kirino and Miyuki have more finicky BnBs), but some characters (Shana, Asuna, Yukina) can pretty much get away with just ABC > A+B > EX/Super for a knockdown or damage.
I would consider myself pretty mid-level in terms of fighting game competence, and in a couple months with DFC I've been able to pick up about seven characters, versus ~two characters in about five years of Blazblue; DFC's a much easier game to learn. Granted, liking the characters more makes them easier to learn too =P
Fuck....Yesss.....
I just bought the japanese one too...
played it
well its fun at first but later on you will get tired playing it because too small main rosters with tons of support rosters
too much biased from SAO Kirito and Asuna but other light novels are have one representative each
Yeah, I got tired of it real quick too. Melty Blood AACC still the best.
Wish they would bring it to steam like other recent anime game announcements
