    Well its based on a visual novel, so the heroine arcs are horriblly compressed. The Amane arc took about 10+ hours of reading in the VN, they compressed it to like 3 20 min eps. But yes it has some story and drama. The main char is bascally a black-op's agent, and he wanted a normal life (or rather to experence it) so he gets enrolled in this school for bascally "trouble" girls, all of the girls have some issue that causes them to not really be able to go to a normal school or some other special circumstance. In the VN each of the main girls has a route. I reccomend the order to go thru them to be: Yumiko, Michiru, Sachi, Makina then finally Amane. To get Yumiko's route its bascally the defult ending if you do not get on any other girls route. To get on a route is easy, at one point the girl will as you a single question, like for makina she offers to "buy" the main char to be her father (you'll see why during her route), if you choose yes, your on her route, if you choose no, you continue on untill another option comes up or yumiko's route starts. For Amane you decide to become her boyfriend iirc.

    The anime will give you a basic idea of what happens in each girls route, but it leaves ALOT of it out. Also the 2nd and 3rd vn in this series I believe had a successful kickstarter for a english translation, so all 3 will be coming out, a all ages (with h-content removed) will be out first, then about a month later a 18+ version (which was the orignal pc version that came out first) will be available. One of the major changes beyond the h-content in the first game, was for the all ages version Amane's route was toned down alot in terms of what happened.

    Right now you can get the orignal 18+ version of the 1st game fantranslation, h-scenes are censored, but if you wanna go thru it.. there ya go. This was one of my favorite visual novels as well and I have gone thru alot of them.

    The way is to wait a second season to see if the sister appears ..
