I still to this day don’t understand how this is getting a 26 episode season. It was good don’t get me wrong but the last season was like late 2004, its been a decade if you don’t include that movie. It was hardly super popular. Why revive something so old?

  In term of fan base, Fafner has a steady one. After the movie, there was fan meeting event every year. The BD/DVD sale was also good (the movie’s bds were sold out and now reprinted). Also, there were something like the free streamings in Nico, which gave positive feedbacks. So it’d be not a bad business to produce another season.

  Yeah I agree. Compared to Sister Devil, Absolute Duo, and World Break it’s easily on bottom. Like shows I have no interest in aside being way too high the fact that Fafnir is on top of this grouping is kind of hilarious and sad at the same time. Well who knows how Isuca will turn out if it will be worse or not. The first ep wasn’t bad but the main girl was easily the worst part and that could very quickly drag it down.
